Thoughts

Displayed the snowflakes at work on the windows after Bob told us that we hadn't put any up this year and that you would have told us off for not doing them so there are now loads in your memory. So many people remember you showing them how to make them. We all miss you terribly. Merry Christmas my lovely friend xxx

Kalpna was so full of fun, always thinking up wild and whacky things to do, but the one that sticks in my mind is the instigation of the charity shop secret santa at NatCen with a £1 limit. She said that as secret santa gifts were mostly crap anyway, the charity shops might as well benefit! Brilliant. I think about my dear sweet friend all the time and find it hard to come to terms with the fact that I'll never hear her crack a joke, laugh or take the 'p' out of someone ever again. She was a very special lady, unique in every way, but there's so many happy memories for us to keep, that she'll continue to live on in our hearts. Goodbye my friend. Janetta xxxx

Kalpna was truly awesome and such a breath of fresh air. You knew you could always rely on the truth from Kalpna and I loved her for that. I loved that she grew chilli peppers and she tickled them to pollinate. I loved that she introduced the idea of hot water bottles into the office. I loved that she would send lovely pictures and brightly coloured writing in her emails. I loved that she loved a drink and was so fun to be around on a night out, a personal highlight in my memory was that night at Potters when we literally bounced around to the music all night ending up in a heap on the floor together. I loved that she always went the extra mile to produce pictures and special messages for everyone on their birthdays etc., I loved her generosity and my son will soon grow into the t-shirt she gave him. The list is endless, and one thing is for sure, she certainly is missed around here. I love you darling x Claire
